Three Mills

Surrounded by road and rail traffic, the Three Mills Island is seen by commuters every day, and yet seems just out of reach.  If you manage to find your way here then you’ll be rewarded with visiting one of the three mills that is still there: the House Mill.  It hovers over the river Lea, its giant wheels still tucked underneath its 200 year old frame.

While you may be sad they don’t make gin here anymore, the building has the potential to work again!  To hear more about this treasure, listen to what Beverley and Terry have to say about it…

(The House Mill is run entirely by volunteers… for that reason it needs your support) www.housemill.org.uk
